UU Superheroes

Each week we introduce our young superheroes to an appealing picture book as the takeoff point for exploring the love, reason, tolerance and good works that are at the heart of the Unitarian Universalist approach to life.

Sessions are fun and friendly with activities such as junk sculpture, bells for joy and justice, play dough menorahs, sarong dramatic play, "Pin the Star on the Constellation", Milky Way Bar meditation, and other creative options.

A few of the featured books are The Big Orange Splot, Stone Soup, Maria’s Comet, If I Were President, Henry Hikes to Fitchburg, Miss Rumphius, Owen and Mzee, and Earth Day Birthday.
